Who are we?
Founded by Mahendra Kumar Patodia, MKP Mobility is a national enterprise and consists of 6 firms spread across the automotive sector.
The Spare House
All great achievements have a humble beginning. Our journey began with the birth of The Spare House in 1989. TSH started with distribution of relatively lesser known brands who were vendors to large vehicle manufactures like Bajaj, Bajaj Tempo and Tata. TSH then further branched out to Mumbai in 1995 to expand their reach. Since its establishment in 1995 we have come a long way through association with the largest two-wheeler manufacture in the world Hero Moto Corp LTD (formerly Hero Honda Motors LTD). Later, we were also awarded prestigious distributorships like CEAT tyres and Idemitsu Lubricants.
The Spare House currently caters to approximately 15 authorised dealerships, 30 authorised workshops and 500 retailers in and around Mumbai.

Auto Antariksh
Our founders’ vision was to have an association with the most prominent brands in the two-wheeler, passenger and commercial vehicle segments. It was a natural progression for us to be associated with Maruti Suzuki in 2008 which is the country’s largest car manufacturer and Auto Antariksh was created. The firm covers 9 districts of Maharashtra and caters to more than 1000 workshops and 300 retailers. To penetrate deep into the markets and provide accessibility to the customers, we have 16 touch points in these 9 districts and plans for further expansion. Auto Antariksh was appointed as distributors for Hero Moto Corp for South Maharashtra and Goa headquartered at Kolhapur in 2011. The firm currently caters to over 500 retailers, 50 authorized workshops and 20 dealerships.
Parts Cottage
After a successful start with Hero Moto Corp in Mumbai, we partnered with them in Pune 2003 and Parts Cottage was conceived. Within a short span of time, Parts Cottage grew to be the Flagship firm of MKP Mobility. Parts Cottage became one of the pioneers of organised distribution in the country. With over 750 happy customers, this firm grew in leaps and bounds.
Parts Paradise
Parts Paradise was formed in 1993 in Pune. It distributes parts of some of the largest component manufacturers in the country. Brands like Philips, Osram, Gabriel, NGK, Champion, Purolator, Pavna, STUDDS, IFB, Pricol, etc are associated with this firm. It has a customer base of over 1000 retailers and workshops. Half of the employee working in this firm have been associated with us since the beginning.
Auto Xperts
In 2011, we furthered our vision of being present in all segments. TATA Motors LTD appointed Auto Xperts as parts distributors for small and light commercial vehicle segment. Soon Auto Xperts became one of TATA’s most structured and methodical distributors. Recognising this, TATA also gave us the medium and heavy vehicles segment, making our commercial portfolio complete. After successful operations in Pune for 8 years the Ahmednagar Warehouse was commissioned. Generating demand through 600 workshops. We cater to over 400 retailers
Planet Spares
The fruitful relationship with TATA Motors resulted in Planet Spares being appointed as TATA passenger car parts distributor in 2015. Within a year of its inception, Planet Spares was proud to be associated with the iconic brand Royal Enfield. In 2018, Planet Spares expanded its operations to Kolhapur which catered South Maharashtra as well. Parts distribution for TVS Motor Company was added to its Portfolio in 2019.
